I’m sharing the best Whole30 approved condiments so you can add a little flavor to your journey!
If you’re new to the Whole30 world, I recommend starting with my review and reflections on Whole30. You’ll have the chance to read my personal review and how I continue to use Whole30 in my every day life.
Whole30 entails that you eliminate the following; Alcohol, added sugars, preservatives and additives, dairy, grains, beans or legumes, and soy for 30 days. And while there are many resources and recipes for Whole30, I always felt stuck when it comes to condiments. I’m sharing my list of the best Whole30 compliant condiments to stay on track!
The Best Whole30 Approved Condiments
Ranch Dressing
Let’s start with a fan favorite, Ranch Dressing. To be honest I’m not a fan of ranch dressing, mayo, sour cream, or white sauces in general. I know a lot of you may be reading this and thinking my taste buds are off, but I like what I like. I do know a lot of people enjoy ranch dressing and this Whole30 Ranch Dressing will allow you to stay Whole30 compliant while enjoying creamy ranch. Sir Kensington is another one of my favorite brands in general so basically anything you buy from them should be good. Add their ranch dressing or mayo to your next grocery haul!
Whole30 Mayo
This Avocado Oil Mayo was a huge help in Whole30. It checks all of the Whole30 compliant boxes and it’s packed with tons of flavor! If you haven’t checked out Primal Kitchen, I recommend trying a few of their products. I love their dressings and marinades and always have a few in our fridge.
Ketchup
Whether you’re adding ketchup to scrambled eggs or a turkey burger, it’s nice to have that ketchup Whole30 approved. It is crazy to think how much sugar and other sneaky ingredients are in ketchup. You can whip up a healthier, homemade ketchup like 40aprons does here, or grab the Primal Kitchen Unsweetened Ketchup from your local market. Organic ingredients and natural sugars!
Barbecue Sauce
Barbecue sauce is a staple for social gatherings and backyard BBQ’s, but when you attend those events you always need to be conscious of your food choices. This Whole30 BBQ sauce is perfect to keep on hand, marinate on chicken or pork and let those flavors sink in. Warning, be careful with your sugars! It can be easy to grab just anything but you want to make sure you’re avoiding sweeteners at all cost.
Marinades
Dressings can be very tricky while on Whole30. I was able to find the Tessemae brand and I use it on everything now. I love using it for my recipe Instant Pot Shredded Chicken with the Tessemae Lemon Garlic marinade. Their marinades are organic, sugar-free, dairy-free and keto friendly!
Coconut Aminos
Coconut Aminos is a great substitute to your soy sauce and other dressings. Coco Aminos are soy-free, gluten-free, dairy-free and grain-free! You can easily use this for sushi, dressings, marinades and sautes. I love using it for Egg Roll in a Bowl.
