*Disclosure: This is a sponsored post written by my on behalf of Steripod. All thoughts and opinions, as always, are my own.

Have you ever seen something and been like “Wow, that is a brilliant idea. I wish I had thought of it.” I have that reaction when I see something very clever and that is how I felt when I was first introduced to Steripod earlier this year.
Steripod is a toothbrush protector that you clip on to your toothbrush to keep it clean in between brushings. It looks like a little clip that you would use to close a bag of chips, but it goes on your toothbrush. When I travel I normally keep my toothbrush in a plastic bag and I know that isn’t the most sanitary thing either.

I also liked how the Steripod fit my new electric toothbrush. I have a new Sonicare toothbrush I just switched over to several weeks ago and it sits on my sink open. Now I’ve got a Steripod on it to keep it fresh and clean all the time. I don’t travel with my Electric Toothbrush, but I’ve got one Steripod at home on my electric toothbrush, and one on my regular toothbrush that is stored in my toiletry bag for when I travel.
Baby Awesome is also new to the tooth brushing world so I used a Steripod on her toothbrush on a recent weekend trip.
Isn’t this family of toothbrushes just so darn cute? I think so.
The Steripods last three months and we’re about halfway into using ours right now and I really enjoy them. They retail on Amazon {aff link} for $5.99 for a pack of two or $20 for a pack of eight. I think they are a worthy investment to keep your toothbrush clean and free of germs!
The Giveaway
Steripods are also a “gym bag must have” to keep your toothbrush clean and safe, so in honor of May being National Fitness Month we’re giving away a fitness bag full of goodies for one lucky winner that includes:
- One year supply of Steripod for a family of four (16 Steripod total)
- One Fit & Awesome Towel
- One Waterbottle
- One pair sandals in the winner’s size
- One gym bag
Enter using the Rafflecopter entry form below to win. Good luck, and happy brushing!
I use toothbrush covers but have never use Steripod. It looks like a more sanitary cover than the ones I’ve used in the past. I’ll keep my eye out for it the next time I go on a trip.

I WANT THAT SOOOO BADLY! I always think about all the nasty nasty germs lurking on my toothbrush head! I mean…. It’s IN THE BATHROOM – where the TOILET IS! And goes into my dirty mouth…. GROSS! LOL!
I know, right? And what about in your toiletry or gym bag? Eeeewwwie!
I want this!! I am always really grossed out by my toothbrush in my travel bag so I replace them a lot. This would be perfect for me and the family!!
I know, it’s such a great invention!
I usually just cram it into a plastic sandwich bag at the last minute, after I’ve used it that morning. Pretty gross.
OMG. You put yours in a ziploc?? Nah, girl.
I have a cheapo plastic toothbrush holder from Target. I guess that’s not much better but it does have vents. I also don’t bring my Sonicare either!
We just buy cheap disposable toothbrushes for any time we travel. thank you!
I have a plastic container thing that the whole brush fits into, but it’s not breathable and my brush stays wet in there. Not exactly the cleanest thing to use.
Our family would definitely make good use of the Steripods!
I have a plastic container that I use when traveling (most of the time) my brush stays wet in it though, so I just think it harbors germs
I use a plastic tooothbrush holder when I travel.
I toss it in a ziplock bag!
Thanks for the giveaway! Such a great idea!
I use a toothbrush case when I travel (which isn’t very often these days) but the Steripod is definitely a great idea!
that is so cool ,,, i never even thought about that,,, we travel a lot and steripod is such a good idea… i sure will cover our toothbrushes from now on’
I usually use a new toothbrush every time but it gets expensive after a while!
I usually use a toothbrush plastic cover but it never seems to cover all of the toothbrush
