Fitbit Flex Review + Enter for a Chance to Win a Fitbit Flex
You may have seen my recent post about the Fitbit Flex Giveaway in conjunction with UnitedHealthcare and Source4Women. I have personally been a fan of Fitbit since they launched their original “OG” Fitbit several years ago.I still use it to this day and it’s been a deal tool for me in helping to track my fitness goals and weight loss progress. But technology improves and changes and I’m almost certain the Fitbit technology has improved since then. So I decided to consult with a friend who owns a [easyazon-link asin=”B00BGO0Q9O” locale=”us”]Fitbit Flex[/easyazon-link].

The following Q&A is between me and my friend, Lan Tran. Lan is the Owner & Founder of Skinny Bitch Apparel here in Los Angeles. Don’t let the name fool you. Her site has something for everyone! Lan recently purchased a Fitbit Flex and here is what she had to say about it.
What made you decide to get the Fitbit Flex?
I wanted to be able to track my fitness levels throughout the day and mainly I wanted to track my sleeping patterns throughout the night. I am looking to improve my fitness level and overall health and wanted a device that was on me as a constant reminder towards my new fitness goals.
What are your fitness goals?
To eat 1200 calories a day and lose 10 lbs in 3 months.
How do you use the Fitbit Flex?
I track my activity level throughout the day with goals synced into the app. I also use the diet/calorie intake to monitor how many calories a day I eat.
What is something interesting you have learned since you’ve started tracking your fitness using the Fitbit Flex?
I was really surprised to see that I tossed and turned a lot at night so I looked into ways to improve my sleep.
What do you like most about the Fitbit Flex?
Tracking calorie intake, activity tracking. It’s light weight and comfortable to wear so you don’t notice it.
What are your dislikes? Be honest.
It can be manual. You have to tap it before going to bed, tap it when you wake up, and be diligent about entering in what you eat and what you did that day. It’s also not comfortable to wear at night when sleeping.
Overall, what would you rate your Fitbit Flex out of 5 stars?
I’d give it a 4 out of 5 star rating.
Thank you, Lan, for your great input on the Fitbit Flex. In addition to the Flex, Fitbit also has other great products such as the ones below:
