I’ve never understood the concept of Black Friday. People spend all night camping out in front of a store, miss a Holiday dinner with their family, and CHOOSE to deal with crazy ass crowds and people. I don’t like crowds and I’m not a huge shopper so this has never been something I’m into. Plus I do about 70% of my shopping online these days.
I do think going to a Black Friday sale is worth it if there’s something specific you’ve been looking at and will be on sale that day. If you’ve been researching an item and have been waiting for it to go on sale, then by all means…get your ass to the store and get a deal. There isn’t anything I will be getting at Black Friday tomorrow, but if I could get a discount on one thing it would be this:
This is the Canon EOS Rebel T4i. It’s new. I love photography and I am always taking a ton of photos wherever I go. I bought an entry level DSLR two years ago and I love it. I’ve learned so much about digital photography in the past couple years and it’s become a hobby and passion of mine. If there were one item I’d wake up early to get on Black Friday, it’d be the Canon EOS Rebel T4i. It’s currently available for a $300 rebate on Amazon through American Express. You can also go to Samy’s Camera tomorrow and get it for no tax and $150 off. That’s probably a $300 savings right there. Not too shabby.
Sometimes I wish I had more time to focus on photography and taking photos. If I was really serious about it, I’d probably upgrade my entry level DSLR to this badass camera:
Talk about power. It boasts a built-in GPS and Wi-Fi Transmitter. You can share and upload photos anywhere on iOS or Android Devices. And the video option is new and improved. Amazing.
So there you have it. I’m not shopping tomorrow but the only reason I would get my butt out to a retail store tomorrow for Black Friday is for this deal on the Canon T4i.
What are your thoughts on Black Friday? Do you go shopping? Why or why not? Post in the comments and let me know!
