My Babbleboxx “Going for the Gold” Review
The Rio Summer 2016 Olympic Games are here and they have been pretty great to watch so far. We missed several days of the Olympic Games due to a family camping trip (it was awesome!) but I’ve been catching up over the past few days with our DVR. I have such a deep admiration for all Olympic athletes, and my personal favorite summer Olympic sport to watch on tv is swimming. I swim 2-3x a week at my local gym and every time I watch swimming, I analyze the athletes and their stroke and I always try and emulate them in the pool. They are amazing.
This month I received an Olympic inspired “Going for the Gold” Babbleboxx for review. You may have seen my previous health and fitness Babbleboxx review here on Fit & Awesome. For those of you who are not familiar with Babbleboxx, it’s an exclusive box with products that gets delivered to a handful of social media influencers. I was super stoked to receive this special Olympics themed Babbleboxx. Here’s what was inside:

I love this watch! I’ve always wanted a Casio Baby-G watch but never bought one for myself. This one is unique because the face is white and one side of the band is blue, and the other is red. Perfect for showing off my Team USA pride. As most of you know, I’m a big USA soccer fan and plan on wearing this to upcoming games and whenever we watch the games on TV. Super excited.

Purpletale: 5 Steps to Lovely Skin
This is a portable all-in-one facial kit that you can do at home. To be honest, I haven’t gotten a facial since before I got married so the idea of being able to do one at home is super appealing to me. I work long hours and usually come home and put Baby Awesome Toddler to bed. By the time I have time to relax I’m spent. This five-step facial treatment kit comes with foam cleanser, ampoule, bio-cellulous sheet mask, and facial cream. It’s really nice because it’s all packaged together so you just have to follow the steps. Easy enough, right? It’s also easy to travel with. I am planning on slipping one of these into my bag the next time I go out of town.

I received a plastic shaker bottle, vitamin pill case, and supplements from Vitamin Shoppe®. The supplements were a True Athlete® Energized Training Formula in Fruit Punch flavor. They also sent some Natural Whey Protein Packets which were low in sugar and carbs. I mixed this with water alone and it was pretty good. I was a fan.

JUST® water
I’ve seen JUST® water all over Whole Foods lately and was excited to have a chance to check it out. What appealed to me most about this brand was its packaging. It is made from a paper-based bottle made from 83% renewable sources by using paper and plant-based plastic from sugarcane. So cool!

2XU Mid-Rise 7/8 Compression Tights
Trying on these compression tights was a game changer for me. I’ve heard about 2XU compression products before but never had tried them out. OMG. You guys. They really suck you in – if you know what I’m saying. I felt so good in them. I wanted to keep wearing them after the gym and to my office all day. I was sad to take them off. It was like having the tightness of a compression sock wrapped around my entire leg. So great. You must check them out.
More info here: 2xu Compression Tights. Use code 2XU20 for 20% off your purchase. You’re welcome.
