If you’ve been reading my site for awhile you might remember when I reviewed the AMRAP Nutrition Bars last year. They are great. And guess what? They just recently came out in all new flavors. They sent me a couple samples to review and I gobbled them up. And then I bought more. And then I ate those.
The new AMRAP Nutrition Bars come in three flavors:
The new AMRAP Nutrition bars are gluten free, non-GMO, and made with healthy ingredients. I wouldn’t call them paleo, but their website does state that they are paleo friendly which I do agree with. Why? Because they contain egg white protein. If you are pure paleo you probably won’t dig that (or a bar in general) but if you’re partly paleo or paleo friendly like me, these are perfect!
When I first got them I thought I would like the almond and honey the best based on flavors. But I actually enjoyed the cashew and vanilla one the most. It’s chewy and delicious and check out the ingredients:
Cashew and Vanilla: Cashews, Honey, Cashew Butter, Unsweetened Coconut, Egg-White Protein, Vanilla Extract, Sea Salt.
Almond and Honey: Almonds, Honey, Unsweetened Coconut, Egg-White Protein, Sesame Seeds, Cinnamon, Sea Salt.
Fig and Cacao: Dates, Egg-White Protein, Figs, Almond Butter, Almonds, Unsweetened Coconut, Cacao Nibs, Coconut Oil.
If I had to rate these bad boys in order of my favorites I would say Cashew and Vanilla, Fig and Cacao, and then the Almond and Honey. The almond one was a bit too dry for me.
I’m super stoked on these newly formulated bars from AMRAP Nutrition and plan on buying a box right now. That’s what inspired my post. I think these would be a great snack to have on hand during the holidays so you can reach for something healthy in between meals instead of the candy bowl or the basket of sweets that’s lying in your office kitchen. My only beef with these bars is that they are quite pricey at $32 a box ($4 per bar), so they are more of special treat than an everyday snack bar for me. Enjoy!
What about you? Have you ever tried AMRAP Nutrition Bars? Post in the comments and let me know.
*Disclosure: AMRAP Nutrition sent me one of each flavor bar to try out (3 total). I liked them so much I bought a box on my own. Then I bought another box. And I decided it was time for a review. The end.
