Chef V Tropical Green Drink Review

By Lindsay Leave a Comment

You may remember last year when I reviewed Chef V’s Green Drink here on Fit & Awesome. I was a fan of Chef V’s green drink for its taste and convenience. It’s packed full of nutrients and doesn’t taste like you’re eating a whole garden which I think is nice. I’ve kept in touch with the Chef V team ever since and have occasionally ordered their green drink and one day juice cleanses. They recently announced a new product and I couldn’t wait to try it out – The Chef V Tropical Green Drink!

Chef V arrives in my neighborhood every Tuesday morning. I love getting fresh green juice delivered straight to my door. It’s so nice to wake up in the morning (as long as Kona doesn’t bark and wake up Baby Awesome). I received complimentary samples of the Chef V Tropical Green Drink to try out. There were 7 bottles in this super cute cooler bag:

Like the Chef V Green Drink, the Chef V Tropical Green Drink is raw, organic, and locally made. It’s got the same good stuff in it like:

  • black kale
  • green kale
  • collard greens
  • green leaf lettuce
  • curly parsley
  • dandelion greens
  • green chard
  • filtered water

And the tropical green has these new additions:

  • mango
  • pineapple
  • pineapple juice

The day I received the Tropical Green Drink I was feeling sick with a cold. I drank the Chef V Tropical Green Drink throughout the day to help me feel better. It was nice to sip on and I really do think it helped me battle my cold. It tastes very similar to the Chef V Green Drink but a little bit sweeter. I liked the smaller 16 oz bottles because they are more portable and easier to travel with.

The sugar content is 6g per serving so a 16 oz bottle is 12g of sugar. It is natural occurring sugar from the fruit and there is no added sugar to the drink. If you are looking for a lower sugar option, I would recommend sticking to the regular Chef V Green Drink.

Chef V Tropical Green Drink – Special Offer

The cost of the Tropical Green Drink is $45.95 for 7 bottles if you go with the 16 oz size. This comes out to a little over $6.50 a bottle. Most juices in this size are around $8 / bottle and don’t get delivered to your doorstep, so I think it’s a fair price. It also comes in a super cute mini green cooler bag. The other option is you can also get 2 bottles of the 64 oz drink for a total of $39.95. If you are uncertain about it, Chef V has a money back guarantee. You can also use the promo code “FITANDAWESOME” to receive 55% off any of the Chef V Juice Cleanses. You can visit Chef V online here: chefv.com You’re welcome!

Overall I think the tropical green drink was a great way to change it up a bit from the standard green drink and I think it tasted great, too. If you haven’t checked it out I definitely recommend it. I am told it is limited edition so check it out before it’s gone!

What about you? Does this drink sound good to you? Would you incorporate it into your daily routine? Why or why not? Post in the comments and let me know.

*Disclosure: I received a free sample of the Chef V Tropical Green Drink to try out for editorial consideration. I liked it and decided to write about it. This post contains affiliate links.
