Healthy Brand Showcase West 2017

In August I went to a really cool event in West Hollywood called the Healthy Brand Showcase. It was a one-day product showcase featuring new health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, and beauty products. I love going to these kinds of events and learning about new products so it was a good time.

The event was held at the swanky Mondrian Hotel right off the Sunset Strip. I don’t think I had been to the Sunset Strip since my days of living in West Hollywood and working at MySpace in Beverly Hills. Here are some brands that were highlights from the event:

• Pro Yo – They recently launched two new flavors of their high protein ice cream– Peanut Butter Chocolate and Salted Caramel and had a delicious ice cream sundae bar. Yum!
• Dollop Gourmet – This is a brand that makes frosting with natural ingredients and half the sugar. They were also on Shark Tank! I am so using this when I make baked goods for the kiddos. They were giving out samples of their frosting at the show with gluten-free cookies. So awesome.
• Earth Circle Organics – They make several different types of powders. The one I was interested in was their Coconut Cream Powder. It would be a great creamer for your coffee or even for making curries.
• Sambazon – They are coming out with a new low-sugar version of their infamous acai.

This was one of my first outings since Baby Strong was born and it went really well. She had been struggling to take a bottle but being away from her for several hours actually was a good thing because she finally took a bottle! Woo hoo! I love going to events like these and discovering new and interesting products. It was a really fun event and I hope to attend again next year!
