Whole30 Day 24 Recap: Soccer & Jalapeño Sweet Potato Chowder

I woke up early on day 24 and decided to put dinner in the slow cooker before I left for work. I decided to try a new recipe- jalapeño sweet potato chowder. I got the recipe from the Practical Paleo book. I was craving something hearty and warm and comforting and this was a great choice.

It took me about 20-25 minutes to prepare the chowder in the crockpot. Once everything was ready to go, I cooked breakfast! I made two fried eggs with sausage and greens. It is so important to have a hearty breakfast because it sets the tone for your eating for the rest of the day.

My breakfast kept me well satisfied until lunch. I had a lunch planned with a friend and she was more than happy to eat at a restaurant where I could get something that was whole30 compliant. We went to Spectrum Club because its across the street from our office and always has healthy options. I got a chicken and veggie bowl with chicken, veggies, avocado, and no brown rice. It was so good!
