Trigger Point Performance Grid Foam Roller
A couple weeks ago I wrote about the Trigger Point Performance Grid Foam Roller in my Home Gym Equipment for under $100 post. This afternoon I learned that the Trigger Point Grid Foam Roller is on sale today as part of the Amazon Gold Box Deal of the Day for 42% off. It’s $25.99 today on Amazon which is a smoking deal.
The reason I love this specific foam roller is because it has grooves (aka “the grid) that really narrow in on trouble spots and put pressure on different areas to release tight muscles. I have a love hate relationship with the foam roller just because it hurts so good. If you do it right, it’s going to hurt like hell but afterwards you will feel great. There are also regular foam rollers, but for this price I think The Grid foam roller is seriously a smoking deal.
I posted this link on Facebook and some friends asked me how to use a foam roller. Well, YouTube is a great place to watch videos and learn how to do these techniques. I love the foam roller for my IT band. And when I say love, I should say I “hate to love it” because it hurts so damn bad but when it releases it feels awesome. Here’s a great video on how to use a foam roller to release your IT band:
I am keeping my eye out on Amazon regularly for great fitness gear deals like this. Last month it was the Garmin Forerunner 410 GPS watch and today it’s Trigger Point Performance grid foam roller. Pretty awesome.

Do you use a foam roller? Do you love to hate it as much as I do? Have you tried The Grid? What do you think?

I’m in the same boat–love/hate relationship with the foam roller. I would never want to see a video/photo of myself using the foam roller because I can only imagine seeing the pain on my face.
I did get to try a grooved foam roller during a fitness class – wow!
Oh yeah, I wince in pain when I use my foam roller. It hurts so good. The groove foam roller is where it’s at. Thinking of selling my other ones and just using the grid from now on.
I have this foam roller! I was lucky to receive it as a gift a few years ago and love it (and subsequently gave away my old foam roller). I like this one because it’s almost in between a foam roller and a golf ball in terms of pressure/intensity.
