New Year New Gear: My February Reveal

In January I participated in a fun fitness gear exchange called New Year New Gear. It was started by Nicole from Apples and Arteries as a way for readers and bloggers to motivate each other in their fitness goals and get new gear in the process. It’s pretty fun!

This month I received a package from Dena at 40 Fit in the Mitt. Dena lives in Michigan and rides a Harley. She is definitely Fit and Awesome!

I was excited when Dena’s package arrived because it had a fun note for me on the top of the package:

The package was in a Sephora box which made me wonder if it was from Sephora. But I figured it was not :)

Dena’s package also came with cute tissue paper wrapping:

And a super cute card with a nice note and motivational saying inside:

And now, time for the unveil! Dena said she chose this shirt because it reminded her of California. Once I opened it up, I totally saw what she meant and I agree! She got me a super cute Fila workout top. It’s orange and green and grey and just super cute and fun. Plus it has a zipper media pocket that can hold an MP3 player. Excellent!

Aside from the media pocket, the top also has a really unique and cute design on the back which is so fun and different from anything I currently own. Dena asked me if I liked surprises and I sure do love this one. Check out how cute this is:

In addition to the Fila shirt, Dena sent me a little goodie bag with twist bands (at least that’s what I think they are!), Emergen-C, and a cute runner girl decal. I love them all! I’ve heard great things about the twist bands so I’m looking forward to checking them out.

I was really happy with my New Year New Gear gift from Dena. Thank you, Dena, for such an awesome package! It made my day and I am very excited about this new addition to the workout collection!
