September is well on its way and that means it’s time for a new round of dares and challenges from Source4Women. I noticed this month that Source4Women has a new look and feel to their website. I like it! If you’re unfamiliar with Source 4Women, it’s a community created by United Healthcare that provides healthy living information on things like nutrition exercise, health screenings and more for women. Every month they do a photo contest to encourage you to live a healthy and active lifestyle. This month is a bit different because instead of a photo contest you can create your own healthy selfie avatar! Here’s how:
- Visit http://www.wedareyoutoshare.com/avatar and click enter
- Upload your photo. I recommend using one where your face shows up really well
- Add your own head, top, bottoms, and accessories to your healthy selfie
- When you are all done, click submit. Be sure to enter the promo code “FitandAwesome”
I had fun creating my healthy selfie in a matter of minutes. Here’s how it turned out:

Is it goofy? Heck yes! But then again, so am I. The hair and headband are pretty hilarious.
If you submit your healthy selfie you are also automatically entered for a chance to win a $400 gift card. Pretty sweet!
Special Announcement
I know every month we also do a giveaway along with the dare. This month is different because we have a very special announcement. Beginning on Monday September 21st I will be taking over the Source4Women Instagram and Pinterest accounts for four days. I am going to be posting plenty of healthy lifestyle and fitness tips plus you will have a chance to win some really cool prizes.
