Summer has arrived. The official start of summer begins this weekend with the summer solstice and there’s no better time of year to get outside and get your body moving. And June also means a new “We Dare You” challenge from the Source4Women “We Dare You To Share” community. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Source4Women, it is a website created by United Healthcare that provides healthy living information on things like nutrition exercise, health screenings and more for women. The site launched last July and was recently designed this month. Check it out. It looks great!
The Fitness Challenge & Giveaway
The new site redesign also marks a series of new challenges this month. One of them is a fitness challenge where you log your fitness activity. They are keeping a scoreboard and each time you log your fitness activity, you are entered for a chance to win a $400 gift card! In addition to this, all Fit & Awesome readers will be entered in an additional giveaway to win A Fitness Prize Pack featuring a yoga mat, kettlebell, and resistance bands! Can you say awesome?
Here’s How To Enter:

2) Click on “Enter Your Latest Exercise”
3) This will launch a popup that allows you to input your fitness activity. Make sure to log your fitness activity and use the promo code “FitandAwesome.” Note: you must enter this promo code to be eligible to win the Fitness Prize Pack so don’t forget! I went for a walk today.
I logged our walk today around the lake in our association. It’s a beautiful walk and always clears my head and I feel great after the walk. It’s about 2.5 miles but can be increased with different routes.
An hour of strength training everyday
I ran a trail half marathon in elkton MD… hardest half I’ve ever run!! 🙂
