How Do You Get Active?
I am loving summer. The weather has been gorgeous, I got to go on vacation, and I finally feel like I’m back in a good fitness and eating routine since having Baby Awesome. This month’s Source4Women theme fits perfectly with my current mentality because it’s all about sharing how you get active! If you’re unfamiliar with Source 4Women, it’s a community created by United Healthcare that provides healthy living information on things like nutrition exercise, health screenings and more for women. Every month they do a photo contest to encourage you to live a healthy and active lifestyle.

Now, you might think that me doing yoga in the summer in long black pants is crazy. It might be. But there’s something that I really have loved about doing yoga lately. I have gone a couple times in the past few weeks and it just feels so good to stretch out. I admit that when it’s too hot I prefer to jump in the pool or ocean but this is an activity that’s a bit different than what I normally do and I am digging it.

I have been doing a lot of hiking and walking lately.
I love yoga so much. I take a Vinyasa flow class that is so great for my tight muscles. This post makes me excited to go back to my regular class! Love your yoga mat 🙂
I’m always running, currently training for the NYC Marathon. I’ve also been riding my bike, hiking and playing with the kids!
What a fun giveaway! I’ve been doing a lot of running for marathon training and strength training on my off days! 🙂
I love to go walking,at every chance i get.
I am a runner but yoga, strength training and cycling take a close second.

Right now I’m focusing on running as I’m training for an upcoming race, as well as teaching a bootcamp. When those are done, though, I enjoy things like zumba & yoga too!
