#MNBChallenge Week 3 Recap
This week completes the end of my 3 week #MNBChallenge with Lorna Jane and Fit Approach. The focus on this week was BELIEVE. While I consider myself to be a mindful and spiritual person, I don’t find myself sharing that side of my life much through online media. This week was good for me because it inspired me to push myself out of my comfort zone a bit and share a side of myself that I don’t normally do. I hope you all enjoyed! Here is my week 3 recap.
Day 1: Pamper Yourself
Today’s challenge was to pamper yourself and take the time to do something just for you. I was busy moving at a mile a minute all day long and finally came home and got cozy with my Sanuk slip ons and a cup of tea before I dove into the latest book I am reading – Jab Jab Jab Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuk. Great book for anyone who manages a page on Facebook or Twitter. Enjoy!
Day 2: Enjoy 5 Minutes of Mindfulness
Another busy day. I was really glad the theme of today was enjoying 5 minutes of mindfulness because honestly – if it hadn’t been I would have forgot to do something like this. I got home at 10pm after a long day at work and then evening events. I lit a candle and did a 5 minute candle meditation. What you do is stare into the flame of the candle for 5 minutes. I learned it in a yoga class once and it is a very peaceful and powerful meditation.
Day 3: Your Happy Place
This was a fun one because my happy place just happens to be a couple blocks away from where we live. I love the beach in front of our house. It is where we surf, lay out, and the spot where my husband Marion proposed to me back in 2012. When I think of my happy place, this is it.
Day 4: Thankful Thursday
Today’s challenge was to post what you are thankful for. Well, I’m thankful for a lot of things in my life. I came home from a dinner and my husband was playing with Kona and Brody, our friend’s dog who we were dog sitting that night. In that moment I was very thankful for all that I have and decided to share this photo.
Day 5: My #1 Supporter
This was the last day of the challenge and a tribute to my #1 supporter. I can’t think of anyone more supportive in my life path than my husband, Marion. He is the love of my life and my best friend. I feel blessed every day that we are together. Okay, enough mushy stuff. 🙂
That concludes my #MNBChallenge. I hope you all enjoyed seeing my posts as much as I enjoyed sharing them!
What about you? What do you do to incorporate mindfulness into your daily life? Post in the comments and let me know!
I have loved this challenge and have been inspired by all of us together 🙂
