Happy Awesome Friday!
TGIF, people. I hope you all had a fabulous week. I always love this time of year. Why? Because this past Tuesday was my birthday! I always look at my birthday as a time to self reflect and think about my goals for the coming year and what I’ve accomplished in the past year. I couldn’t be more excited about everything that has happened in the past 12 months and where the road ahead will take me. If you are interested here is a post I wrote last year on my birthday.
And now onto more awesomeness. Congratulations to AJ from Confessions of a Fat Girl for winning the April “We Dare You To Share” challenge. AJ is the winner of a $150 Amazon Gift Card to share with her family. Congrats, AJ! You rock!
Here’s some more exciting news for you:
- SoulCycle Bans Fitness Instructors from its classes – I heard about this and thought it was crazy town. What do you think about it?
- 35 Things Only Real Angelenos know about LA – As someone who has lived in LA her whole life I can say yes, this is a very good list.
And here’s my favorite find of the week. You all know I’m gluten-free and how much it’s helped me. But it’s also very trendy. Especially here in LA. Check out this hilarious skit from Jimmy Kimmel when he asks people what gluten is. I can’t say their responses surprise me:
Have a fabulous weekend, everyone!
What about you? Do you know what gluten is? What are your thoughts on SoulCycle banning instructors? Post in the comments and let me know!

That skit from Kimmel is THE BEST. I wanna show it to a few people…. LOL.
SO EXCITED I WON! OMG. And also thought about the photo I submitted to United for the sweepstakes and am a little tickled it was my favorite pic of me and my grandma. Kind of like her spirit helped me win or something. I very seldom get spiritual but I always do about her. 🙂

That was a funny skit! I would think that fitness instructors could learn from other fitness instructors. The ban seems a bit extreme.
