Source4Women’s “We Dare You To Move” Image Upload Contest
**Disclosure: This is a Sponsored Post. I was compensated by Source4Women for this post but all thoughts and opinions are my own.**
United Healthcare recently launched the Source4Women community in July to help promote and encourage women to lead a healthy lifestyle. The new Source4Women community provides a myriad of healthy living information from nutrition, health screening and fitness tips to family and parenting information. In addition to this, every month from now until January they are creating a new challenge “daring” the community to share a photo of how they are staying healthy.
For the month of September, the dare challenge is for women to get 30 minutes of activity a day. Part of this challenge includes an image upload contest where you can upload a picture of you doing your 30 minutes of activity and you will be entered to win a $400 Visa® Gift Card. What perfect timing since the holidays are right around the corner.
I went online and checked out the gallery of photos people have uploaded for this month’s contest and here are some of my favorites:
After viewing all the photos I got inspired and decided to upload my own photo. This morning I went surfing and it was really beautiful out. After I went surfing, I was washing off my feet with the hose and I brought Kona outside with me. She was being really sweet and I snapped this photo of us:
So go ahead and vote for me and Kona if you’d like! To view the We Dare You Community and upload your own photo to be entered visit wedareyoutoshare.com.
Now, I’m no doctor and I don’t work in health care but I think this community launch is great. United Healthcare is taking a proactive approach by encouraging women to be healthy. After all, preventative care is the best kind right?
What about you? Do you get 30 minutes of exercise a day? What photo would you upload and why? Post in the comments and let me know!
