24/7 Tech Connection from Surf to Snow
**Disclosure: This is a post written by me about a sponsored opportunity I did with Verizon. All thoughts and opinions, as always, are my own.
Hey Everyone. Me again. Remember earlier today when I posted about this awesome opportunity I had with Verizon where I got to snowboard and surf in the same day? In Part One of the Verizon #MoreSoCal series I hit the slopes at Big Bear Mountain resort. Well, a day full of exercise can’t be done without stopping to refuel for a solid lunch. And by solid, I mean filling!
In part two of the Verizon #MoreSoCal series we hit up Avila’s El Ranchito in Huntington Beach for TACO TUESDAY! It was a very cool restaurant that has been in Orange County for over 40 years and has multiple locations throughout the OC. I had their chicken street tacos and they were so good! We also got an order of chips and guacamole and it was delicious. I was seriously full for the rest of the day.
The staff at Avila’s El Ranchito was so amazing to us. The location we went to was right on Main Street in Huntington Beach. If you are ever in the area I highly recommend checking them out. Plus they have gluten-free options on their menu! Of course I asked for gluten-free options and that made it into the video. So funny.
It was fun to hang out at lunch and play with all my devices. I really liked the Verizon Elipsis 7 Tablet. It’s small but not too small and it was fun to view my Go Pro footage on it. And after seeing the calories I burned snowboarding (340 an hour), I didn’t feel all that bad chowing down on so much mexican food.

And if you missed part one, you can view it here.
Stay tuned for Part 3 of the Verizon #MoreSoCal series where I go surfing in Huntington Beach. Coming soon!
